Ah! Verranno a te sull'aure", with Katia Ricciarelli

Buona settimana a tutti!!

Key facts:

◦ In the last post, I was talking about the great complicity on stage between Carreras and Ricciarelli, something they found again last week performing the duet A Vucchella, besides the years and their consequences. But something else has guided me in this choice: my friend Simon Orfila has recently made a triumphal debut as Escamillo in Bogotà, and now has come back in Spain, in Sevilla, to rehearse and perform in this opera, Lucia di Lammermoor. So, this is the duet which marks the end of the first half of the opera, "Sulla tomba che rinserra...Ah! Verranno a te sull'aure".
◦ In this performance you should leave behind personal opinions, and abandon yourself to beauty of singing, to their complicity, and notice how those two young opera stars were completely involved in their roles, and how they were so beautiful to see and listen to. Enjoy it!!

Hope you like it, so see you next Sunday for a new video!! Have a nice week!!
