THE 22. JOSÉ CARRERAS GALA COLLECTED 3,2 MILLIONS - "WIR SIND SEHR DANKBAR"

José Carreras is pleased with the donation of the 22nd José Carreras Gala. 3.194.278 euros were collected until just before the end of the program for the fight against leukaemia and other blood diseases. This grandiose sum is, however, only an interim balance, since the donation are still possible 01802 400 100 and online.

In the 22. José Carreras Gala, which was shown live on SAT.1 Gold from the Berlin Estrel Congress Center on Wednesday evening, numerous international and national artists performed for the good cause: Chris de Burgh, Placido Domingo Jr. & Friederike Krum, Rainhard Fendrich, Glass Bead Play, Andreas Gabalier, Max Giesinger, Lionshead, Maite Kelly, The Lochis, Klaus Meine, Milow, Oonagh and Santiano. 

The Gala was moderated by the legendary tenor, who performed twice in Maria from West Side Story and the aria La mia letizia infondere from Verdi's I Lombardi alla prima crociata, alongside with Nina Eichinger and Matthias Killing.
