JOSEP CARRERAS HUGELY SUCCESSFUL IN KUTAISI: PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF HIS CONCERT

A pochi giorni dal grande concerto di Roma, A Life in Music ha fatto il suo approdo in Georgia. Ieri sera Josep Carreras ha collezionato un altro successo con uno splendido concerto a Kutaisi, parte del progetto Check in Georgia, accompagnato dal soprano georgiano Salome Jicia e il Maestro David Giménez.

Carreras ha raggiunto la città il giorno prima dell'evento e ha rilasciato qualche breve dichiarazione prima di recarsi alle prove insieme all'Orchestra Sinfonica di Tblisi che lo ha accompagnato.

Non ci sono molti dettagli sul concerto, ma la pagina Facebook Check in Georgia ha pubblicato diversi contenuti, cui vanno ad aggiungersi diversi video disponibili su YouTube. 

Risulta quindi che il tenore, in splendida forma, abbia nuovamente esordito con Era de Maggio, per poi proporre nel corso del programma altri brani come Ya mis horas felices, Musica Proibita, Je te veux e Tonight in duetto con il soprano, ma anche Chitarra Romana, Torna a Surriento, Amigos para siempre, Non ti scordar di me, il Brindisi da La Traviata e molti altri.

Dopo il concerto, Carreras ha detto di essere molto felice del risultato ottenuto e che spera di poter far presto ritorno in Georgia, con la speranza di avere più tempo per visitarla.

A few days after an amazing concert in Rome, A Life in Music made its debut in Georgia. Last night Josep Carreras achieved another resounding success with his concert in Kutaisi, part of the Check in Georgia Project: he was accompanied by soprano Salome Jicia and Maestro David Giménez.

Carreras arrived in town the day before and released a few brief statements before going to the rehearsals with the Tblisi Symphony Orchestra that has accompanied him.

There are not many details on the concert, but the Facebook page Check in Georgia has shared several material, and several videos are available on YouTube as well, so that we can enjoy quite a lot.

So, it seems that the tenor, in great shape, opened his show with Era de Maggio, and then proposed throughout the program pieces like Ya mis horas felices, Musica Proibita, Je te veux and Tonight in duet with the soprano, but also Chitarra Romana, Torna a Sorrento, Amigos para siempre, Non ti scordar di me, and Brindisi from La Traviata, among other songs.

After the concert, Carreras said he was very happy with the result  and for the affection and respect he received from the audience; in addition, he hopes to return to Georgia very soon with more time available to visit it.
