6th edition of the José Carreras International Singing Masterclass (Pesaro, Rossini Conservatory, 4-9 October 2021)
The State Conservatory of Music "G. Rossini", Pesaro, will be hosting the 6th edition of the International opera singing masterclass held by Maestro Josep Carreras. The Masterclass, which is open to singers of all ages and nationalities, will take place in May, 10 – 15, 2021.

The application (click on the link above to be redirected to the Conservatory's website and follow the application instructions) must be submitted by 10th April 4th September 2021. Applicants need to specify their vocal register and list the pieces to be perfected during the Masterclass.
The admission is subject to an artistic commission composed by Maestros Josep Carreras, Lorenzo Bavaj, and Fabio Masini, new Director of the Rossini Conservatory, on the basis of a 5-minute video recording of an aria or a part of it.

The admission to the Masterclass will be notified by e-mail. All students not admitted will be able to attend the Masterclass as auditors.
The Masterclass timetable, except for changes related to organizational needs, will be as follows: from Monday 10 to Saturday 15 May Monday 4th to Saturday 9th October from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00.
The Rossini Conservatory will make the collaborating pianists available to the attending students, who will receive an attendance certificate at the end of the Masterclass.
On Saturday 15th May 9 October at 6.00 pm, a final concert will be held at the Teatro Rossini, with the participation of the best students. Artistic directors, superintendents, and operatic agents will be present at the concert.
