New Christmas Banner 2013

Dopo un banner autunnale dedicato ai 25 anni della guarigione di Josep Carreras con uno sfondo dove alcune delle immagini più significative del suo comeback year, il 1988, sfumavano l'una nell'altra, è ora tempo di adeguare toni e colori all'epoca più celebrata dell'anno.

Già da una settimana, il blog si è preparato al Natale con una nuova sezione dedicata al Calendario d'avvento, cui potete accedere dalla colonna di destra, nell'elenco delle altre tre sezioni del blog, sotto la copertina del nuovo album "25 MERAVIGLIOSO". L'Advent Calendar 2013 vi propone ogni giorno una palla di colore diverso per addobbare l'albero di Natale sulle note dei brani più amati e che più fanno atmosfera, interpretati dal nostro Josep, da solo o con altri colleghi. Oggi siamo già alla pallina numero 8, non perdetevi il video!!

Come vuole la tradizione anche la pagina principale del blog deve essere decorata per il Natale, ecco perché vi presento oggi il nuovo banner di Natale che rimarrà in cima per un mese. 

Ho cercato di essere tradizionale, posizionando al centro dello sfondo la base di un albero di Natale: tra i regali vedete anche qualche copia del nuovo album di Josep, "25 - MERAVIGLIOSO", con la speranza che per Natale possiate trovarlo sotto l'albero e ascoltarlo tutti!! 

Ai lati delle immagini di Josep trovate altre palline rosse di diverse dimensioni e se aguzzate la vista, in ognuna trovate impresso il numero 25, in relazione sia al disco sia al giorno di Natale, 25 dicembre. Ho deciso di concentrarmi sui classici colori caldi come rosso, oro e verde: nel Calendario d'Avvento però troverete anche quelli freddi, per tutti i gusti.

Le immagini di Josep sono entrambe molto belle e recenti: quella di sinistra risale a un anno fa, da tempo desideravo usarla per un banner ma solo ora mi sembrava legasse bene con lo sfondo; quella di destra risale a un paio di mesi fa, l'originale è in bianco e nero quindi ho dovuto intervenire molto per tentare di trasformarla in una foto a colori... spero di esserci riuscita. Ho scelto questa, nonostante le difficoltà, perché mi piaceva davvero moltissimo.

Spero vi piaccia il banner!! Ci terrà compagnia per tutte le feste: ora l'atmosfera c'è, non ci resta che attendere insieme: - 17 giorni a Natale, e oltre alle note del Calendario d'Avvento, l'attività corrente del nostro tenore riserva ancora tante sorprese!!

For a week, the blog has been preparing for Christmas with a new section dedicated to Advent Calendar 2013, which you can access from the right column, in the list of the other three sections of the blog, right under the cover of the new album " 25 - MERAVIGLIOSO". The Advent Calendar 2013 offers every day a ball of different color to decorate your Christmas tree with the notes of the most beloved Christmas carols, to make the atmosphere magic, interpreted by our Josep, alone or with other colleagues. Today we are already at number 8 ball , do not miss the video!!

As tradition wants, also the main blog page has to be decorated for Christmas, that's why I present to you today the new Christmas banners that will stay on top for over a month. I wanted to be traditional, placing at the center of the background the base of a beautiful Christmas tree: among the gifts boxes you see also some copies of Josep's new album" 25 - MERAVIGLIOSO", hoping that you all can find it under the tree and listen to it!!

At the sides of the images of Josep you find more red balls of different sizes, and if you sharpen the view, each ball is imprinted number 25, in relation to both the album and Christmas Day, 25 December. I decided to focus on the classic warm colors like red, gold and green: however, on the Advent Calendar, cold ones like blue, silver and purple are available as well, to suit all tastes.

Josep's images are both very nice recent: the one on the left dates back to a year ago, I was looking forward to use it for a banner but only now it seems to be well combined with the background; the one on the right dates back a couple of months ago instead: the original is in black and white, so I had to work hard to turn it into a color photo... I hope I succeded. I chose this one, despite the difficulties, because I really liked it a lot.

So, hope you like the banner!! It will stay with us for all Christmas time; the atmosphere is here now, we just have to wait together: - 17 days at Christmas, and in addition to the notes of the Advent Calendar, the current activity of our tenor still saves many surprises!!
